Responsibilities Responsible for reviewing and processing all faculty hiring paperwork.
Works with all CAS Department chairs and coordinators on contracts for total-time and part-time instructors, adjunct and other contingent and/or non-tenure line faculty.

Creates and maintains faculty hiring files, including compiling historical and statistical information, data and summaries by College plan and in the aggregate, every bit required by the Dean, Office of Academic Affairs, Institutional Research, Human Resource and the Budget Function.
Acts equally a liaison to Academic Diplomacy and Human Resource regarding hiring procedures and the submission of hiring paperwork in a timely fashion.

Reporting and timely tracking of the enrollments in CAS courses to support the Deans in review and approval of CAS schedules and faculty workload assignments.
Provides input and reviews/corrects computational errors for Kinesthesia Processing Organisation of the Annual Cost Study Projection for NEIU'due south Function of Institutional Research and the Illinois Board of College Pedagogy.

Reporting and tracking of kinesthesia grant-funded course releases, and maintaining an annual list of external grants/contract that provide faculty support to the CAS.
Assists with the preparation of other relevant College reporting requirements and requests.

Trains and supports the College's department chairs and administrative staff in the preparation and calculation of workload and hiring paperwork for all faculty and academic support professionals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the University's Collective Bargaining Agreement and University policies.
Other duties as assigned by the Dean, including assisting the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office and staff in answering phones, processing CAS records, and supporting CAS kinesthesia and students.

Participates in and provides support for evening/weekend College activities, events and projects, every bit required by the Dean and/or Associate Deans.
